Documentation for Print media Project 2
 This project was based on four witt art department promotional objects in which i have to design 3 objects as physically and 1 item should be digitally according to the brief. 
1st week Philippa introduced the project and after that we starts brainstorming to choose the objects or items. During the all discussion we found the plenty of items on which we can choose any 4 items. 

 

From upper list i chooses the 4 items for our project and our tutor create a deadline for every item for cover all work and according to her each item should take time 2 week in this project.
My Four items are
1.Coffee Mug
2.Key Ring
3.Poster
4.Motion graphics video

Before start working on this items we have to find the target market person. this was confuse task for me but luckily i found one person who is chef at kassaba restaurant. he ages about 45 and i discussed my project with him and ask him some suggestion about the market promotion ideas, after these all process i explained the my all chosen item and he like my ideas.He is well known person this city and he know lot of families in my city and others cities so he can easily encourage their children for arts study at witt. 

In 1st item i decide my design mug by typography the all word which are related course tag at witt art.
after that i creates a rough design in photoshop and following photo is example of that,

 

 In this design was no shape for typography and all fonts are same and some tag word were that which were not matching with any course. so i brainstorming again and choose a shape from the art logo. in the logo there was a triangle shape so i take it and decide to go with that. after the create the design, main challenge was find a place for printing. my tutor suggestion me Vistaprint.co.nz. from that website i got a actual size for my mug design. that was little bit expensive so i choose the Top Print shop for printing.

2nd item
in 2nd item i decide to make a key-ring, for this i choose the same triangle which was in logo and each face a different photo and text or tag words which will be related with all courses.
after the decide the key ring shape next task was its size because it should be in small size and easy to carry in our pocket.

 

after the printing on thick paper i decide to laminate this all design to make it more strong. after that i cut all 

 faces.


3rd item

In third item i choose poster. as size i decide to go with A3 size. it was little bit though for me in brainstorming for designing. i draw rough design on paper for it and develop it further in photoshop and abode illustrator software.

 I choose word tags clipping masking on that boy because it should be looking related with art and its all tag words

4th item

in this task i faced many problems 1st i was choose the postcard. but due to digital format it was impossible to use it and there was no sense of post card as digital. so i drop this concept and starts on another one. during the brainstorming i decide to go with motion graphics video.this video will be work as ads on youtube and this can be play before any video as a ad for witt promotion. I have skills in after effect to accomplish this task.1st i was sketch up the all scenes for that video.following photos are example of that story board.

 

i did this video in after effects some animation task in design in after effect such as 1st frame and rest of work i designed in photoshop. i gave them proper animation in after effect by follow 3d tool for movement.

After all i reached my final design of logo. Following photo is example of that which take a path of my design and final photo of my design respectively.

After the finalize logo i start working on business card and start brainstorming. after all i reached following pic design

For poster its consist of two files one of illustrator and other one was photoshop. to makle a squares i used illustrator and for poster i used photoshop. Foloowing pictures are example of my work.

For brand manual i used the indesign software and following pictures are the example of that work.

In next i create my some visual logo which was create just text with MC. Following picture is example of this

This logo have a lot of colors like rainbow and its make from different shapes. But after all its not look too professional and as well as effective which indicate the business. After that i creates more shapes. Following pictures are example for that,

Well i was still struggling with logo. After that i create a logo huge brainstorming but thats was also fail and its cant accomplish the goal of project. following photo is example of this

Hii this post is related with documentation about my print media project. This project was too interesting as compare other project. in this project we have to done some professional work in graphics. we have to create a Logo, Business Card, Brand manual And some other stuff.

For this project i chosen my own name for Logo and gave a MANVIR CREATIONS name to my logo. in the session of brainstorming. I have many idea for startup. First i chosen a just MC word for my logo but that was not too effective as graphics look.
